I make beautiful objects
for ugly feelings.
Pass-Aggro is a one-person collaborative studio publishing workplace emotional infrastructure. I work from a city you would not recognise from the window.
Sincere on the outside.
Specific on the inside.
The category is workplace emotional infrastructure. The promise is restraint. The result is a card you can leave on a desk and a sentence you can finally stop carrying.
We do not wink. We do not exclaim. The aggression is in the words; the surface is, and remains, very nicely printed.
Every product is a thing I once wanted to say. We make the object so the sentence makes it. That is the whole product.
Letterpressed.
Quietly.
Cream by default. Ivory on request. Never bright white.
A small palette of warm pigments: gold-deep, sage, dusty rose, ink, and the cream of the page. No pure black. No primary blue.
Hand-set type, carefully inked, meticulously transferred to the workflow. The kiss of metal to paper is part of the brief; you can feel the words on the back of the card and the inspiration on the screen.
Tissue paper, scented with restraint. A small wax seal. I send promptly, or by EOW of feeling like I should.
For stockists and
the curious.
I work with a small list of stationers, design boutiques, and museum shops. Press inquiries are welcome. Replies are warm, eventually.
Minimum opening order $400. Net 30. Trade pricing available after the first cycle. Write to wholesale@pass-aggro.com.
